MR. KOFI TOTOBI QUAKYI assumed the Chairmanship of the Board of Directors of the National Communications Authority on 27th August 2009.
A well-known Ghanaian public figure, Mr. Quakyi has over 30 years of continuous experience in national and international politics as well as managerial leadership in public service with extensive knowledge in communication, security and governance issues.

DR. PASMOR KURANCHIE (Member)

DR. PASMOR KURANCHIE was appointed to the Board of the National Communications Authority on the 27th of August 2009. He is currently, the Chairman of the Board’s Sub-Committee on Operations.
He is the Head of the Department of Biostatistics at the School of Public Health, University of Ghana, Legon, and a member of the Technical Advisory Committee for Clinical Trials of the Foods and Drugs Board.

BRIG. GEN. HYACINTH NII ARMAH TAGOE (Member)

Brigadier General Hyacinth Nii Armah Tagoe has been a member of the Board of Directors of the National Communications Authority since 27th August, 2009. He sits on the Board’s Sub-Committees on Management and Operations.
Brig. General Tagoe brings on board a wealth of experience in Human Resource Management, Logistics Planning and Management, Telecommunications Resources Management, Command Control Communications, Information Systems (C3IS) Infrastructure Management as well as expertise in negotiations, mediation, arbitration and counseling.

MR. ISSAH YAHAYA is the Director responsible for Policy Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation at the Ministry of Communications. He was appointed to the NCA Board of Directors on the 27th August, 2009 as the representative of the Ministry of Communications.  He serves on the Board’s Sub-Committees on Operations and Research.

MR. WILLIAM TEVIE (Member)

MR. WILLIAM MATHEW TEVIE, a seasoned ICT specialist is the Director-General of the National Information Technology Agency. He joined the NCA Board of Directors on the 27th of August 2009 and has since Chaired the Board’s Sub-Committee on Research. He is also a member of the Board’s Sub-Committees on Operations, Finance & Audit and Project Management.

MR. GEORGE SARPONG (Member)

George Sarpong is the Executive Secretary of the National Media Commission. He is a Lawyer and a journalist. George has considerable experience working on media policy across Africa.  He worked with the Media Foundation for West Africa as Coordinator for Publications where he took part in developing and implementing advocacy programmes with Press Unions, Journalists’ Associations and media regulatory bodies in the sub region.

MR. PAAROCK VANPERCY (Member/Director General)

Paarock Asuman VanPercy assumed office as the Director-General of the National Communications Authority (NCA) since 1st June, 2010 and by virtue of this position, sits on the NCA Board as an executive director.
Mr. VanPercy comes to NCA from a career in Investment Banking with over 26 years experience in investment Banking, Corporate Management and Administration.

Mrs. Rahmata Issahaq-Pelpuo has over eleven years experience in Corporate Legal Practice. Mrs. Pelpuo joined the Authority from International Commercial Bank Limited, where she served as the Head of Legal Department and Company Secretary for almost nine years.
