Table Of Frequency Allocation (9kHz – 1000GHz)
Introduction
The Ghana Table of Frequency Allocations details the uses to which various frequency bands are put in Ghana (referred to as ‘allocations’). It provides the framework within which frequency assignments are to be made for all radio services in Ghana.{break} The Ghana Table may be amended as a result of changes in National Communications Authority Licensing decisions, or in accordance to changes to Radio Regulations made by the World Radiocommunication Conferences of the International Telecommunication Union such that these affect the Ghana table, or in accordance with the application of any other national frequency decisions.
Direct references have been made within the Ghana table to those footnotes in the Radio Regulations that apply to radio services in Ghana.
Where the provisions of the Radio Regulation differ from those of Ghana’s table, those of the latter will apply.
The Ghana table doses not infer any right for use of radio services or equipment, which must be authorized in accordance with the relevant licensing requirements. The following conventions apply throughout the Ghana table: PRIMARY services are printed in capital letters. Secondary services are printed in lower case
Where a footnote is printed in the same line as a radio service, is applies to that radio service only, whereas where a footnote is printed at the bottom of frequency band, it applies to that band or parts thereof. Download Frequency Allocation Table...
