Authorised FM Radio Stations As At Last Quarter Of 2011

The National Communications Authority (NCA) as at the last quarter of 2011 has authorised 247 FM radio stations in Ghana out of which 217 are operational. The 247 authorisations are made up of 34 Public radio stations, 37 Community radio stations, 11 Campus radio stations and 166 Commercial radio stations.

Authorised TV Operators As At Last Quarter of 2011

As at the last quarter of 2011, the total number of TV operators authorised by the National Communications Authority (NCA) in Ghana are 28. Out of the 28 TV stations, 20 stations are Free-on-air, 7 are Pay- Per- View and 1 is for research purposes.
