Authorised FM Radio Stations As At FIRST Quarter Of 2013

The National Communications Authority (NCA) as at the first quarter of 2013 has authorised 316 FM radio stations in Ghana out of which 240 are operational. The 316 authorisations are made up of 36 Public radio stations, 51 Community radio stations, 12 Campus radio stations and 217 Commercial radio stations.

Authorised TV Operators As At Last Quarter of 2011

As at the last quarter of 2011, the total number of TV operators authorised by the National Communications Authority (NCA) in Ghana are 28. Out of the 28 TV stations, 20 stations are Free-on-air, 7 are Pay- Per- View and 1 is for research purposes.
