Broadband Wireless Access
BWA Consultation ProcessIn accordance with its mandate under the Electronic Communications Act,
2008, Act 775 and the National Telecommunications Policy 2005 (NTP’05),
the Authority is seeking to award licenses for provision of Broadband
Wireless Access (BWA) Licenses in the 2500 – 2690 MHz frequency band. Update on BWA Licencing ProcessDue to requests received from some prospective applicants for an
extension of the deadline for the submission of applications and
proposals for Broadband Wireless Access licenses in the 2500 – 2690 MHz
band, the Authority has decided to grant a two –week extension.
Therefore the deadline for the receipt of applications and proposals
shall be 5pm on 30th June, 2010.
