NCA Director General Recognized For Commitment To The Telecom Industry

Paarock Asuman VanPercy, Director General of the National Communications Authority, has been given a special acknowledgment for his commitment to the telecom industry in Ghana. The recognition, in the form of an award, was at the 2nd Mobile World Ghana Telecom Summit. The award ceremony took place on Friday the 20th of April at the prestigious Holiday Inn in Accra on the theme “Consolidating the Growth in the Telecom Industry”.

The award was organized by Instinct Wave Limited, publishers of Mobile World magazine. Mobile World magazine is a free publication that delivers cutting edge mobile communications news, information technology, reviews, essential tips, and information on existing and new phone brands, gadgets and provides a fresh perspective on the Africa telecommunications market.

Awards were also given to operators in the telecommunication sector, including vendors, tower companies, internet service providers, handset dealers and content providers.
