These are the laws and policies that provide the enabling legal framework for information and commuinications technology regulation in Ghana.
National Communications Authority Act of 2008, Act 769 (PDF Format / MS Word) - An Act to establish the NCA as the central body to license and regulate communications activities and services in the country; and to provide for related purposes.
The Electronic Communications Act of Ghana, Act 775 of 2008 (PDF Format / MS Word) - This is the Act that provides for the regulation of electronic communications, the regulation of broadcasting, the use of electronic-magnetic spectrum and for related matters.
Electronic Communications Amendment Act, ACT 786 (PDF Fomat / MS Word) - An Act to amend the Electronic Communications Act, 2008 (Act 775) to provide the minimum rate for international incoming electronic communication traffic and for related matters.
