Mr. Bernard Aidoo Forson,Jr.
Mr. Bernard Aidoo Forson, Jr. is a Management Executive with over thirty (30) years experience. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration in Corporate Finance & International Business from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon.
In pursuit of expanding his intellectual capacities he also undertook a number of non-degree development programs in: Economics (Boston University); Technology Marketing (University of California, Berkeley); Real Estate Investment Finance (The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania); mergers and acquisitions program at INSEAD (Fontainebleau France).
Prior to his return to Ghana, and on assumption of the position of Deputy Director General of the National Communications Authority, in January 2002, Bernard held various corporate positions with fortune 500 companies in the United States. Other companies include Southern New England Telecommunications (New Haven CT, now part of AT&T); CellularOne (Providence, RI a subsidiary of SNET); Pitney Bowes Inc. (Stamford, CT); Avon Products (NY, NY).
His accomplishments, particularly in the business of wireless communication management and in the development of effective regulatory frameworks have been outstanding. He has developed very high competencies in a number of functional areas; including but not limited to: Strategic Planning; Organizational Development; Corporate Finance; Investment Planning Analysis & Management; Corporate Development; Financial Planning, Analysis & Management; Market Planning, Development & Implementation.
In addition, he has demonstrated strengths in Leadership, Resource Management, Team-Building & Relationship Management, Communications and Corporate Governance. His ability at consensus building, sensitivity to diverse cultural environments, but with the courage to sparingly employ prudent interventionists mechanisms, when necessary, contributed in no small measure to the advancement of Ghana's Communications industry.
Bernard’s strong leadership skills, adaptive capacity and ability to grasp the nuances of various social, political, and economic environments he operates in, along with his capacity to evaluate challenges and opportunities from multiple angles, are a portfolio of acquired and learned skills. These have and continue to enable him to successfully tackle complex operational and organizational challenges to exploit various opportunities.
Presently, Bernard owns and manages Omnibridge Holdings, a Strategic Management Consulting and Business Advisory Firm.
